Somewhat off-topic, The New York Sun is suggesting that Friday’s spam shutdown of a bunch of Blogger blogs was caused by PUMA e-mails—interesting.

Unfortunately, the article’s take is that Google singled out anti-Obama blogs for shutdown.

I e-mailed a correction, noting that Alicublog, Skippy, and If I Ran the Zoo were also shut down and they’re all pro-Obama. I also said that even Instapundit didn’t believe the shutdown was content-based (he found a lot of genealogy blogs were hit). We’ll see if my comment is ever posted.

Oh, good christ, really? I guess my original satirical posts about the shutdowns (here and here) were pretty on-target.

I remember a couple of months ago, that lone PUMA was hanging out on TGW. She was eventually outed as a true ratfucker (though the faithful over there defended zee in all her lovely repuglicaness).
