“Some dreams are bad dreams…”

Here’s your Rachel Maddow wearing a tasseled throw pillow on her head and addressing the graduating class at Smith College:

Syracuse University students weren’t as lucky—they had to listen to bankster hack Jamie Dimon.

Bonus Rachel fact from a former Maddow colleague:

Rachel came to my daughter’s third birthday party, and presented my daughter with a blonde haired Barbie with it’s hair cropped short and dressed in a Ken Doll Tuxedo. Rachel referred to her as “Barbie in comfortable shoes”.

Dr. Maddow is worth a hundred cranky-pants media critics.

Ya know, speaking at Smith is a good way for a gal to get a reputation as one of them hairy-legged man-hating lesbians.

As a graduate of Smith long ago and far away, we were not known as hairy-legged man-hating lesbians.  The gentlemen from Amherst referred to us as “fucking like minks”.  We responded with “A generation of women on top”, so perhaps they were correct.

Is there a contradiction between the two????

Not in the least.  My recollection is that the gentlemen of Amherst seemed to feel that the women of Smith should be exclusively doing it with the gentlemen of Amherst.  Which was a viewpoint with which many of my classmates disagreed.

I hope she gave Robin Williams proper credit.
