Stuff like this makes it all worthwhile…

Keith Olbermann or one of his staff writers probably initially saw it featured on Daily Kos, but it looks like our “PUMA Conference 08” post might have provided some fodder for Olbermann’s “Special Comment” tonight:

And Senator Clinton’s supporters have now relocated themselves to such a degree that her eighteen million voices first recounted themselves as two million and then were unable to get even 250 people to show up for their meeting.

[Hat tip to my lovely wife Chris for catching it]

Props to you guys for your superb article on the PUMA “conference” and on the shout out by Keith Olbermann tonight.

I’m grateful to you for illuminating the sheer irrationality of the PUMA “movement.”

Thank you for your reporting on the PUMA conference. Whoops, I mean “conference.”

Oh, by the way: I know Riverdaughter has spoken about PUMA being a “virtual movement,” but just wanted to let you know that Murphy at PumaPac posted yesterday that PumaPac has 10,000 members.

Yeah, right. Or is that “virtual” members? PumaPac’s list of donors last night after their big Denver push numbered—wait for it—90-something. Noticed that it’s been taken down now, probably because there’s a big disconnect between the number of donors and that 10,000 membership.

Damn, man!  That’s great…

I *love* Keith Olbermann!  Especially his takedown of McCain on military/veterans’ issues.  Groups like VoteVets, Veterans for Obama, Blue Star Families for Obama and others do a great job of highlighting McCain’s horrible record on these issues, and I hope the word continues to spread.  Hubby and I have only one political bumper sticker on each of our cars - “Veterans for Obama”.

What a smackdown by Olbermann.

I like the way he uses the word “sir” to mean “idiot” :-).

The PUMA conference post was fantastic; great to know that Keef (or his staffers) are paying attention to the meatier side of politics.

Sorry. Was that too awful?

I just hope Keith sends you props next time.

Wow, that’s fantastic!

In other news, Lady Lynn is at it again:

The fundraising appeal [sent Monday] also comes shortly after it was announced Clinton’s name would be placed in nomination along with Obama’s and the same day one of the New York senator’s most prominent backers, billionaire Lynn Forrester, expressed anger with Obama for not doing more to help the New York senator retire her campaign debt.

“He has provided her with a pittance compared to what the Clintons have given Obama,” she said. “Her debt could have been cleared within 10 days. It’s ungracious.”

I think Obama is just waiting for the Bower millions to roll in and retire the debt, right? (roar)

Epic failing that, why doesn’t Mrs. Moneybags Lady Lynn just retire the goddamned debt herself? Several million is a mere pittance to Lady Lynn.

Yeah, I saw that she called Obama an elitist again in a London paper this weekend. I am so tired of these people.  Only a few more days before the final nails are banged in and we can safely completely ignore their cry baby bullshit.
