Sulu sets phasers on Snark

George Takei [via Twitter]:

Kim Kardashian files for divorce after 72 days. Another example of how same-sex marriage is destroying the sanctity of the very institution.

Takei has been with his husband, Brad Altman, since Ms. Kardashian was 7 years old.

Sulu, I salute you!

Sulu was in my top 3 favorite ST characters, but over the years I’ve grown to like Mr. Takei even more, and this is just one more reason why.

No question that the hetero celebrity serial marriers are doing more than anyone around to debase marriage as an institution.  NOM on that h8ters!

One awaits the Maggie Gallagher column on how Kim’s marriage would have lasted 50 years if not for the existence of couples like Takei and Altman.

I do not think we will have to wait for long.

Of course. With six paragraphs of whining about big mean gay bully Takei picking on poor Kim KarKrashian and all the other “normal” married people.

Love love love Takei.  He is one of my fave Twitterers.

OOOOOMY!!!!!!!!

“. . .  if not for the existence of couples like Takei and Altman.”

Actually, the real culprit is no-fault divorce.  If Kim thought she’d have to stay with Whatshisname forever (or vice versa), well, then where would US magazine be?

Which makes me wonder:  How many times has Jennifer Anniston gotten married this year and how many times has she been pregnant?  I can’t keep up.
