I absolutely never watch Fox or even clips of Fox. I thought I’d go ahead and watch this one. It is like experiencing an alternate universe. Truly, truly bizarre.

It’s a worrisome development, Evie—this complete fusion of a political party and media conglomerate. It would be less troubling if the so-called straight media didn’t feel compelled to alter their coverage to try to shave off some of the GOP surreality show’s viewers, but they do.

So far, that arrangement has resulted in a cowed media rolling over for a ruinous war built on false pretenses, an alarming loss of civil liberties, etc. Someday it could result in even worse outcomes. And I’m not sure there’s a damn thing we can do about it.

I don’t know how effective that mayor was though.  She may have plugged HSR and everything, but she completely failed to diffuse the shocking revelation that Obama is an asian communist muslim who is intent on subverting congress and the American people by entering into various global cap-and-tax proposals through submissive body language.

That being said, people who regularly watch that show don’t have two brain cells to rub together, and I would imagine their reaction would be to immediately erase the episode from their minds.  There were probably a few though whose heads exploded on impact of her rational words.

Here’s another amazing factoid about Mayor Iorio: She was an election supervisor in Central FL back during the election 2000 debacle, and she didn’t screw up!

While the entire nation watched in horror as other FL county election officials gawped at hanging chads and lamely tried to explain buggered-up ballots, Iorio had her ducks in a row and was able to conduct recounts, certify totals, etc., without looking like a pole-axed rube.

I agree completely with you and the rest that all picked up on this.  Fox & Friends aka “Morons in the Morning” is nothing but a constant douchebag parade pandering to dim-witted fuckwits who sadly, not only feed off of this shit but who are probably unable to even comprehend that the Mayor just completely made them look like the tool tards that they are.

Perhaps Fox News viewers have never stood on a tarmac and attempted to make conversation with someone over the roar of jet engines. 

There is an automatic reaction in noisy situations to move your ears closer to the source of the sound you are attempting to isolate in the din.
