The False Debate to Nowhere

Paul Begala was pretty good on CNN this morning and got visibly disgusted discussing Sarah Palin’s “Bridge to Nowhere” crapola (which she repeated again today) and other lies about her record being propagated by her, the Republicans and the media.  This clip doesn’t run through to the end, but this morning you could see Begala trying to quickly undo his lapel mike so he could punch a wall or something.

p.s. I saw Michelle Obama’s Chief of Staff Stephanie Cutter on MSNBC this afternoon and she’s an asskicker.  More of her, please.

The real shame is that nobody has been able to speak directly to Sarah Palin in regards to this issue because the Republicans are sequestering their candidates from the media.

I would strongly, and I mean strongly encourage everyone who reads this blog to write a letter to the editor and question why the RNC continues to limit press access to John McCain and Sarah Palin.  The fact that neither has been grilled in front of the nation press corps is a scathing indictment of overall confidence in their ability to speak for themselves.

If we all put forth some effort, we can push the media to spin the narrative that John McCain and Sarah Palin are afraid of the press, and aren’t tough enough to speak for themselves.

On a related note, please Digg this article up!

McCain & Palin have a very good reason for avoiding any real questioning by the press:  they have nothing to sell and don’t represent any sort of change (OK I guess that was two reasons.)  I want to take this opportunity to shamelessly plug the post I wrote on DailyKos here (blush) in which I reveal myself as a number nerd in real life and, most important, attempt to point out what a travesty of an unthinking, stupidly conceived, not-a-plan McCain’s health care reform plan is.  I’m working on one about his fairy tale of an economic plan next.  If you think any of it makes sense, pass it on!

Might just be my computer but I am getting the “does not exist” page.

Also I am going to one up you in the shameless department and give another plug to my blog (Kevin K. is going to stop inviting me to his parties if I keep this up).  It answers the question of why and where they are hiding Sarah Palin. (some of you probably already saw it)

also, rock on Paul Begala.  The slumbering media is slowly waking up to Miss McMoose 2008 (I think).

She just lies and lies and any republican that talks about her just lies and lies about her record and what a maverick she is and how’s she’s fought against pork as Governor. .

I believe Iceberg Wedge is correct, the slumbering media finally waking up to Miss McMoose (love it).

I have to say though, it was pretty disconcerting to watch them (MSM)  all lap it up in regards to McMoose and repeat the LIES the new McBush change (the same) machine spewed about her.

Needless to say, this lady cannot be the VP.
Her and her hubby are loons.

The URL for that DKos diary is messed up.  Try this one.

Thanks Other Kevin!  I have just started figuring out these links.  (I may just be an old baby boomer but I’m learning to get techie on these internets)
