The fucker’s about to blow

What a contemptuous bastard. He really is losing it.

I’ve noticed one thing since he won the nomination—McCain considers himself above questioning from the plebian class. It shows every time he’s asked an uncomfortable questions, and he recognizes just how damaging the Palin pick has been to how voters see his judgment.

It dawned on me earlier today, that mcCain watched the high-functioning moron Bush get elected and he just figured that the apparatus was in place for him to come in, ride the same boat, get the same passes offered by his base, and all of the sudden, it isn’t going to plan.

He’s an arrogant fuck who exudes the attitude that he desrves this, it gives him a chance to be the dictator he’s always wanted to be, except the American people, and even more daming, our lemming-like media, aren’t buying this time around.

There’s a minimum age to be Prez., shouldn’t there be a maximum age as well?  Granpappy McCain seems like he’s one question shy of yelling at those goddamn kids/reporters to shut-up and mind their P’s and Q’s or there WILL be no ice cream for dessert tonight.

Somebody oughtta show him Logan’s Run sometime.

From Congressional Quarterly:

Let the record reflect that Barack Obama made the approach to John McCain tonight.

As the two shared the Senate floor tonight for the first time since they won their party nominations, Obama stood chatting with Democrats on his side of the aisle, and McCain stood on the Republican side of the aisle.

So Obama crossed over into enemy territory.

He walked over to where McCain was chatting with Republican Sen. Mel Martinez of Florida and Independent Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman of Connecticut. And he stretched out his arm and offered his hand to McCain.

McCain shook it, but with a “go away” look that no one could miss. He tried his best not to even look at Obama.

Finally, with a tight smile, McCain managed a greeting: “Good to see you.”

Obama got the message. He shook hands with Martinez and Lieberman—both of whom greeted him more warmly—and quickly beat a retreat back to the Democratic side.

He can’t believe he’s having to seriously campaign for the presidency against this guy. It’s his turn!

Get off my lawn!

I love the way Obama was basically taunting the man. More, please!

Don’t spend much time at this blog, but I think they’re moving away from the PUMA point of view which was pretty prevalent earlier this year.  Just wanted to draw attention to the captions on the picture of Obama and McCain (scroll down a bit).  You could do one of those spoken balloons where they say “good to see you” and then the thought balloon with the captions.  And I’m not sure Obama was really intending to taunt McCain.  I think he’s just basically a nice guy trying to behave the way decent, civilized people behave.  McCain doesn’t quite have that down.

I didn’t mean I don’t spend much time at this blog here, duh, I meant at the blog that I linked. :)

To me he actually looks sicker and weaker in this video that he does in the eye-twitch and lost-onstage videos Americablog keeps flogging.  He looks tired and in pain.

Watched the video and I don’t see the arrogance you guys refer to.  (YES, I am an Obama supporter!!).  He can definitely be rigid and a sell-out, but not in this instance.  The question posed by a reporter on govt-based health insurance is a stupid one.  We all know this guy has led a somewhat priviledged life:  father, grnd.father both admirals, annapolis, fighter pilot, married well (rich).  But arrogant here?  Nope.

Though I gotta add…the “Get off my Lawn” line is CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!!!
