MORE: Let’s tuck some more good news into this post. Not sure if this comes from Chuck Todd or someone else at MSNBC’s “First Read,” but it’s an interesting (and, in my view, totally accurate) take on the race based on the results of the latest CBS News/NYT poll:

If we really [are] back to the pre-convention numbers, this is not a good development for McCain going into the debates. He needed the tie to hold until the debates. The last thing he needs is for the debates to be another moment where he has to catch up rather than solidify his lead. Because after the debates, there really are no more chances to move the race.

Biden is a perfect politician - experienced, intelligent, wise. But that’s it. When Palin came to stage, and “PalinMania” started, Biden became invisible. So rumors claim, that Biden will officially “resign because of health problems”, and Obama will invite Hillary to join his fight against Palin. Because she, and no longer McCain, is Obama’s biggest problem now.On the other hand, Obama’s supporters don’t like Hillary, and Obama himself does not like to be “the second”, which is OK for McCain, as Palin now seems like presidential candidate, not McCain himself.
Another question is, if the rumors are correct, why should Mrs Clinton accept VP ticket anyway…

Yeah, Biden’s going to step down, and in the next moment, Obama’s going to rip off his mask and reveal himself as the reincarnated body of an 18th century circus carney who tends to the stables.

Another question, why the fuck is this a rumor in the first place? Maybe Biden is a secret Muslim himself, and he just wants to make sure the Caliphate is up and running before Obama takes office.

Or, maybe it’s just a stupid fucking rumor that makes no sense to anyone, even the clowns linking to said rumor.

If you’re going to run around the blogosphere inflicting people with your wisdom, at least keep up with current news, poll numbers and rumors.

If it means anything one of their other “scoops” is titled “Sarah Palin is not Trig’s mother”. I’m not sure if we’ll learn much Ripley, but we may get a few laughs out of it.
