The stupid…it doesn’t burn…

It lolls around on folding chairs and gibbers incoherently about scary Muslins and uppity black men:

The stupid have always been with us, of course. But such a concentrated mass isn’t often seen. A well-timed asteroid strike could have raised the average IQ in the US by at least 10 points. Thanks for nothing, God!

America has endured, in spite of people like this, for nearly 300 years.

It is testimony to the robustness of our system that it still—if often imperfectly—frustrates the ascent of a stupid, bigoted minority, and thwarts the schemes of small-minded, petty and fearful people.

Likewise, it is testimony to the efficiency of the FAA and the Federal Highway System that these assholes were able to find their way to Washington.

I couldn’t get through the entire thing. All I can say is - Oh. My. God.

PS: Apologies to Betty for recycling her “IQ” reference in the post above. I swear it wasn’t a conscious swipe—but, somehow, references to sub-normal intelligence seem to be unavoidable when posting on events in Glennbeckistan.

The best part? This. (Sorry to link to the Daily Caller, but I can’t pull up the Ballon Juice post about it—I’m using a browser, see, and BJ doesn’t work on those anymore)

Wright State sounds similar to Right State, and two women they interviewed at Beck’s rally Saturday told TheDC that they thought Whiteside and Stoll worked for RightState.com, a non-existent, but conservative-sounding political website — which many rally-goers could have confused with the conservative website RedState.com.

Got that? Their scurrilous tactics amount to attending a school whose name is a homophone for a conservtive website that doesn’t actually exist but sounds like one that does.

And these are the people still bitching about NiggardlyGate.
