These Dem Convention Protesters Have a Point

About this one issue, anyway. Jenkins and the other Fox propagandists will no doubt find more cooperative interviewees in the alley behind the bail bonds joint.

Good to see free speech is still good for something.

My favorite part was when the dude tells Fox News they’re “public relations for the government.”

I very rarely watch Fox News, but I saw a bit last night when I couldn’t sleep (MSNBC had gone into all-prison mode and I’d already seen the CNN political programs). Of course, I expected it to be maddeningly biased, but it exceeded my expectations in a program about Obama. Just un-fucking-real. Hence my amusement when I found this YouTube.

Hence my amusement when I found this YouTube.

I have a vision of you sitting in front of the computer coming up with search terms on YouTube:  “Hmmm, ‘corporate whore’ didn’t result in anything good, lets try ‘fuck fox news’ that seems clear enough.”
viola

My computer is not doing YouTube today (I’m getting rid of Comcast) so I couldn’t watch that video but Fox News got pretty roundly dissed yesterday both by protestors and Spike Lee who barked out “I don’t do Fox News” at them and turned his back.  Go Spike!

Good for Spike! Marindenver, to sum it up, a Fox News dude got into the middle of a bunch of protesters, and they started chanting “Fuck Fox News!” and flipping off the cameras. Of course, the Fox dude started spluttering about free speech, which is exactly what the protesters were exercising.

That’s hilarious!  Thanks.

It’s gonna be fun to see O’Reilly tonight. You mean FOX news waded into a protest looking for protesters and found some? You don’t say.

Who needs a Nielsen box when you have the ever-intrepid Griff Jenkins on the scene giving you immediate feedback on what the public thinks of your product.

I was kind of surprised the actual Fox version that aired (not the YouTubage above) contained plenty of “Fuck Fox News” chants. The Fox studio SpokesBarbie was tut-tutting, of course, but they didn’t edit it all out. I guess being denounced by lefty protesters helps build cred with the core audience, which is probably hoping for Kent State II.

which is probably hoping for Kent State II.

These motherfuckers want Kent State II mixed with Chicago ‘68, interspersed with Watts, Detroit and Newark and L.A. ‘91. Griff’s little foray was nothing more than a blatant attempt to portray violence when all we saw were people telling FOX that in the end, they suck.

I’m not a huge fan of Recreate ‘68, but this is how you handle America’s Pravda network.
