My lovely wife Chris is one of the best amateur impressionists I know (actually, she’s the only one) and lately she’s been perfecting her Peggy Noonan. I used to think she’d never be able to top her Jesse Ventura, but she might be on her way with the Pegster and that makes me inordinately happy.

LOL! There was a blogger—I wish like heck I could remember who—who did the most dead-on imitation of Noonan’s writing. It cracked me up! if anyone can remember who, please tell me!

Now, being able to imitate both Jesse Ventura and Nooners is quite a feat.

Who could not be entranced to have such an accomplished spouse? Mr. Polly does a better Carol Channing than Carol Channing, but that’s more of a threat than a perk.
