The senator replied, “Gotta keep your sense of humor,” and the media were escorted from the room as scheduled at the end of a breakfast meeting.

The other day, I read some bullshit about how McCain is a smart politician who’s going to run a polished campaign, not making any mistakes. And you know, anytime I read about gaffes like this, I wonder what these writers are thinking…

Of course McCain’s not going to make any mistakes—if the media chooses to ignore them. Which I’m sure they’ll decide this is some sort of non-story, too. After all we have to worry about Obama being the Antichrist!
