p.s. For those of you keeping track at home, the new Cavalry external hard drive I bought to replace my dead external hard drive worked about as well as Cavalry’s shit-ass web site (seriously, were they drunk when they built that?). Back to the drawing table. The old hard drive is still in the freezer. I think it has developed feelings for one of the Boca burgers.

The Circuit City in Union Square has SimpleTech 500 gb ext hdrives for 119 - about as good a price as you’ll find. The salesman said they don’t get broken returns on that one. Maxtor and Arcos get returned he says.
