This post will be called “You Know What’s Coming Next”

From CQ Politics:

The Federal Election Commission recently sought advice from outsiders about how the agency could better enforce campaign finance laws. But what it got was completely unexpected — some 200 letters questioning President-elect Obama’s citizenship and demanding an immediate audit of his campaign finances.

You know what’s coming next…

Some comments were tinged with racism. “What the heck is going on here?” wrote one woman from Obama’s home state of Illinois. She accused the president-elect of not disclosing enough information about his family, employment, health and education backgrounds.

You know what’s coming next…

Many of the letters came from members of the People United Means Action political action committee. The PUMA PAC, as it’s known, recently published an article raising questions about Obama’s donors, which included a form letter calling for an audit that people were encouraged to forward to the FEC.

That concludes the post called “You Know What’s Coming Next.”

Jeebus!

These PUMAS are really ANGLERS.  They are just fishing around for something, anything, they can pin on Obama and/or his campaign.  Since they have been doing this for months and months with no results, one would think they would realize there is nothing to find.

Even if every single one of the millions of donors to Obama was identified and even if they found a handful of questionable donations, what would it prove?  After digging and digging all year, if that’s the best they could do, it would prove that Obama ran the cleanest campaign ever.

Ready your riot shields, FEC:

The commission has scheduled a public hearing for January 14 on how it can improve its compliance and enforcement processes.

BTW, why do PUMAs delight in being the first on a thread? I don’t like it. It’s lonely. It’s like going into an empty coffee shop. I just feel better if ther are a few people at the counter.

And no matter what the subject is being demagogued that day—Obama Womanlynches Cardboard Paraplegic Vegan!—-the first comment is always: “First? Yay!”

Obama’s forged birth certificate masterminded the 9/11 attacks.

Fourth!  Baba Booey!

Oops, ya think I woulda had that down by now.

@Mrs. Polly

The Puma’s need to be first on a thread is a deep unfulfilled desire to be first, at something, for once.  Unfortunately for their fat fingers (think the “dialing wand” concept) they are a little to slow on the uptake at non-Puma sites.

Plus, a comment like that would result in immediate banning at most non-Puma sites.

On the other hand it might be an automatic Perl script, given their mad Perl skriptin skillz.

Eighth!  Ta-Dow!

Mrs. Polly—I too hate to be first but I can’t stand to see a lonely thread with no comments either.

I know this is off-topic, but I can I just say that I LOVE THIS BLOG.  I have been slugging it out with these PUMA m*therf*ckers for a year straight, and I must say that no one takes the $hit to them better than Rump Roast!

which included a form letter calling for an audit that people were encouraged to forward to the FEC.

Um. Lotta times when you rat (or attempt to rat) someone out, the enforcement people in question take a look at your shit.

Oh well.

@Kevin & @Will

While I appreciate your hatred for the Pumas, I have an equal hatred for Joe the Plumber.

Have any of you done much investigation of his blog:
http://www.secureourdream.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=1

I’ve been embedded in there since the beginning, got banned in the first week, then figured out just what level of crazy is required to stay.  However, like the Pumas, they have a rapid/rabid trigger finger on the censoring and banning.

I’m getting bored over there on what I think is my own (unless there are some other really good invaders I haven’t figured out).

Anyone interested in playing?

The freep is strong in that one!

You can read all the letters they submitted here: http://www.fec.gov/law/policy/enforcement/2009/comments /commentsotherissues.pdf

Those letters are funny.  Some of the more notorious PUMAs put their pseudonyms in the “from” field and then signed the petition with their real names.

I know.  Love how they all cut and pasted the same damn letter before E-mailing it off.  That took all of what, 5 seconds to do?  I’m sure the FEC was impressed.

I really liked the sweet one at the end that said:

I couldnt pull up the page in the link that came into my inbox for the pdf file, so if there is some certain information or form I need to fill out in order to speak, can you please email me with the details? and preferably a file attachment? and in the interim, please add me to the speaker list? thanks so much, have a fabulous day!!

There’s some right old garbage in there too (apart from the obvious). One calls incoherently for Obama and Rahm Emanuel to “RESIGN TO GIVE TO ANOTHER ARROGANT LIBERAL nancy pelosi TO BECOME president.”

Another is headed “Happy New Year and the Obama break-up and break-down!!!” and includes a YouTube video of Bill Richardson stepping down. No idea what that’s got to do with the FEC, but it’ll probably make someone’s day.

Really, if the FEC wants to do an audit, fine. Can’t see this little lot being very persuasive, though. Do they really think that identifying themselves from PUMA PAC lends them any extra credibility?

I know, dumb question.

Some of those fools didn’t even bother to change the header.  It still says, “Today’s PROWL.”  I love the berating tone too, “do yr jobs!!!”

It is cute that they think mentioning that they’re members of pumapac will give their complaints extra weight.  And I love that crazy guy.  He CCs Nancy Pelosi, Sarah Palin, Sean Hannity, Chuck Schumer, Bill O’Reilly, .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), etc. on all his letters. I don’t see Chief Editor Korir CC’d though.  Must have bcc’d him.

Uh-oh. Obama’s really done for.

Dr. Orly Taitz (eccentric wingnut California attorney who’s harassing the courts with crackpot COLB cases at the moment and may soon face disciplinary action - see Yes To Democracy - for those who’ve not met her) is now on the case.

She’s carrying an article by former FEC Commissioner (with a very chequered career, to say the least) Hans A. von Spakovsky, and is trying to organize her own prowl.

Wow that’s rich!

Dances WithPumas thought she was outing me by giving up my fake name, but then the FEC goes and outs her!

Hi Pam!  We’ll have to have drinks next time I’m in San Diego!

Hahahahaha….

is it just me or did PhillyPUMA participate in the prowl?
Why didn’t you sign it rob landing?

LOL kcindenver, I forgot about that.  Yes, yes I did participate in this prowl.

I was still working on my PUMA cred, so I made sure to do the daily prowl and cc the action center.

Did you like how I didn’t replace “Your Name and State” with my actual name and state, or even my fake name and state?

I thought if I didn’t act retarded enough they’d suspect something.

If you account for myself and then the pumas who sent multiple emails (dances sent at least 2, from different email accounts, and some pelpe sent 5-10), then I suspect the number of actual prowling PUMAs was about 100, if that.  Wouldn’t it be easier just to write a perl script?

I think pelpe was supposed to be people, but what do I know.  I got home early and I’m still a bit drunk…

I think I found my favorite email, here in it’s entirety:

We the people of the city of Pembroke Pines in the state of Florida would like to know about all
this donations
the domestics and foreign donations

From .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

So you speak for the whole city then, do you?

You know, I honestly feel bad for the PUMAs that included their cell phone numbers.  I’m sure there are some wonktards out there that will call em up just to say hi.

Why did they think it was a good idea to include your cell number?

FEC:Hi, this is the FEC, is this XXXX XXXX?
PUMA: Yes, hello FEC, how may I help you?
FEC: We were just calling to ask if you REALLY wanted us to audit Obama for cause, because if you didn’t really care that much, we weren’t going to bother.
PUMA: Oh no! I REALLY REALLY want you to do it! Also, investigate his birth certificate, and also investigate if he had sex with Larry Sinclair, and also investigate if he’s muslim.
FEC: Uh…ma’am, we really only handle the finances…
PUMA: And also investigate if he’s black!

As crazy as she is, and Orly is certainly crazy, she keeps those folks busy.  Investigate this, email that, donate!

I did a double take on a comment from Murphy’s board when a woman wrote about her husband and kids both being sick of her.  She said her husband threw the remote and said “enough of your anger”, and her kids say “let it go already”.  So, Murphy’s advice to her was “Don’t Give Up”.

Wonder who is funding all this nonsense?  Berg, Orley, Keyes, etc.  I guess I’ll have to wait 20 years or so to find out.

I particularly like this one:

“(6) listing $4 million in donations from 4,166 donors with foreign addresses from over 100 different foreign countries,
although it was obvious that none of the addresses corresponded with anyone in the military or government service
overseas.”

Well, of course there is no reason for any other American to ever go, or live, overseas unless they are doing the governments bidding.  They are clearly traitorous foreign-borns, like Obambi.  And we know what to do with traitors - DEATH BY STONING!!1!!

I wonder what the personal rationalization is for not wanting to install Adobe Reader?

“I would like to file, submit comments and would like to testify before Commission, but to do it I
must have announcement instructions, which is in your website, but to open it must have an Adobe
Reader, which I have no and do not want to install, even for free.”

Well, I’ve always been suspicious of it because Adobe has a somewhat Mexican, and therefore unAmerican feel to it.  I’m sure it opens up a gateway for the Mexicano spies to sneak over the border or something

OK, come clean, which one of you wrote Karl Behm’s letter?

I hope one of you did, otherwise he’ll probably send “41,000/3million (bikers) Heavily Armed Americans” after me.

OK do they have some inside joke that they write everything in all caps except the word ‘obama’ which is in lower case?

Enough…I can’t read anymore…when it comes to these people, they don’t deserve healthcare or unemployment insurance

And I love that crazy guy.

*Insert obvious comment here*

If it’s the same one I’m thinking of, I love it when he concludes his many ALL-CAPS foaming rants cc-ed to everyone he can think of with

THE SILENT MAJORITY

The Canadians are finally making their move.

200 letters. WOW. So who knew the lunatic fringe was so vast?

So the big question is, has anyone had the time to cross-reference the email addresses of these crackpots?  I’m sure more than a few have MySpace/Facebook/Livejournal pages and it would be a lot of fun to point at them and laugh.

Roblanding, my favourite quote comes from one of Orly’s commenters too, at the end of one of those long pompous posts full of “WHEREAS"s that they like so much:

In shortening my references to Pres.-Elect Obama to “Obama” no disrespect was intended. I simply had a lot to say and tried to limit excess words and unnecessary repetition because many on my list are senior citizens who like to retire early

Says it all, I think.

I did a double take on a comment from Murphy’s board when a woman wrote about her husband and kids both being sick of her.  She said her husband threw the remote and said “enough of your anger”, and her kids say “let it go already”.  So, Murphy’s advice to her was “Don’t Give Up”.

Mimi, that is priceless! I’ve been wondering how long it will be before we start seeing the post-divorce/custody fight PUMA threads starting. “He said something complimentary about the president, your honor! That’s all the proof I should have to give you that he is an unfit father! I have here some internet links PROVING that President Osama is a SuperSekrit Muslim Fraud without a valid birth certificate who drugged Our Hillary at the convention and replaced her with an android who gave that speech, cleverly dressing her in an orange pantsuit to send a double-crossing secret pseudo-signal to Hillary’s army of 18 million PUMA defenders! For god’s sake, if you let that Penis-Bearing Monster I used to call ‘honey’ raise my children, it will be the worst woman-lynching since the Great Groping of Cardboard Hillary in 2008!”

But don’t you feel sorry for their kids? You know they’re the ones who are always hoping to cadge dinner invitations and overnights with their friends from school so they don’t have to go home to their mom’s Looney Tuney PUMA Palace o’Malice and Fail.

just little me—This appears to be another product of the Vast Left, of which Rumproast has long been aware.

OK, I admit I was in a funk brought on my exposure to Stuey’s poem and myiqu2xu’s Old Spice tinged cheeks, but thanks to PumaHater and the link to the FEC letters, I’m in better spirits.

This is my favorite letter so far:

Hello, FCC, I;m a lesser know candidate, and I have ran for many state offices in Oregon, Mayor of Portland, four times, Governor of Oregon three times, and you know President of the United States. Now if I could make a suggestion I would give the lesser know candidates some of the total money raised from all the federal campaigns, I have not received any campaign funds for any of my races, and the nation needs to hear fresh ideals, like building Dome Homes that will house less than five thousand people, stopping the invention of credit debt cards, making the nation a cash only transaction country, No gun control, stopping the invention of insurances, having the nation cities turn off their street lamps at night, and making all their traffic lights blinking red, to save the nation energy, turning the nation deserts into usable land by building million gallon reservoirs that are connected to each other.

One candidate received over six hundred million dollars, and all the candidates should have to attend forums of the lesser know candidates to remind them of where they came from.

Bob
