This Sentence Was Actually Typed Into a Computer

From bugfucker:

[W]ho will join me in saying “Mr. Bowers and Ms. Hamsher, tear down this Star Chamber!”?

That concludes today’s edition of “This Sentence Was Actually Typed Into a Computer.”

UPDATE: Thers at Eschaton linked to this post and bugfucker, who is not appreciative of the very funny name I gave him or all of the eyeballs (Townhouse ones?) he got on his silly post thanks to Rumproast, is not pleased:

UPDATE: The blogosphere A-list has an undeniable gift for belittlement and marginalization. And referencing this post by way of a site that thinks calling people “bugf**ker” is the height of wit, now that’s a touch o’ class, for sure.

Jeepers, you just can’t please some people. How can A-listers tear down the Star Chamber if they don’t know they’re being asked?

I hate emo progressives.

Shouldn’t that read “today’s edition of ‘WTF Theater’”?

Everyone knows that the permissible spectrum (i.e., the Overton Argon-Filled, Triple-Pane Polarized Zero-Glare Window) of Leftospheric thought is framed and caulked in Rumproast’s Food Prøn Forum, a favorite haunt of paid Obamabloggers and K-Street epicures.

Umm, sorry to undercut the whole premise of the post with my usual pedantry but, dude, that sentence wasn’t typed into a computer.  This call to rebellion was written on a Wi-Fi equipped Big Chief tablet.  It reads like it was written from within the walls of the blogospheric equivalent of Levy Pants because it was.  Just as Teh Chicago Boyz sent us all Iphones, Kool-Aid and cardboard Hillarys, the PB 2.0ers all got issued those next gen Big Chief tablets and lifetime supplies of Dr. Nut.  Does it all make sense yet?

And of course, right on cue, Bugfucker’s BFF, the Throat-Rape Advocate, chimes in.

I love how the deadenders are prattling on and on about a mailing list they know next to nothing about.  I’ve been privy to a few email threads from Townhouse and they’re sadly mistaken if they think this tinfoil-laced crap they’re spinning holds any water. This is just as ridiculous as when the wingnuts were obsessing about Townhouse a few years ago.

And of course, right on cue…

But, of course.

BTW, if they start spinning it that Townhouse helped engineer the Dem nomination for Obama, I know for a fact that both Peter Daou and Taylor Marsh are members of Townhouse and were during the primaries.

And of course, right on cue, Bugfucker’s BFF, the Throat-Rape Advocate, chimes in.

Mother of babbling God!  So Mosquito’s now pretending to be a lefty feminist?  He was posting as a straight-up conservative trollie troll back when he was regularly infesting Balloon Juice.

He always sold himself as the true progressive, though (like that crowd cares anyway, aside from his total wrongness). In fact, I’d argue that Mosquito—fuck, that’s funny—was even more liberal (self-identified) back then.

Wow, spending a weekend with people you love dearly and haven’t seen in forever really makes slagging internet nobodies seem pointless and hollow. Still, can’t deny it scratches an itch, and seriously, the hell with that guy.

OTOH, spending a weekend with people who say things like, “Oh, wasn’t it you who manipulated Uncle Phil and Auntie Barbara into filing for divorce by letting slip that secret I told you not to tell? It wasn’t? I thought it was” makes slagging internet nobodies not only a sensible redirection of one’s energies but a rich, layered, instantly rewarding experience, so good it’s practically enrobed in chocolate.

The whining mosquito from the fetid swamp that is that appalling Effluents, or whatever that acidulous thing is, is hardly worth the swatting but for the amusement it affords the swatter.

Despite the link to Wikipedia’s entry for Star Chamber, bugfucker doesn’t seem to have read it. The Star Chamber was a secret court for trying very special prisoners, typically nobility. How he got from that to a bunch of people emailing each other is a mystery.

so nice to see the loser of all dead-ender losers chime in on cue!

ahh, klown boy, how I have missed him so.

He always sold himself as the true progressive, though

Yeah, but that’s such a common trope among righties that I never really took it seriously.  I mean, I can kinda see it with Charles Johnson, who was sane prior to 9/11 and is slowly recovering his sanity as he realizes just what sort of lunatics he’s been hanging with over the past eight years, but Mosquito never once said anything I could see to indicate that he was an actual liberal in anything but the application of bullshit.

Yeah, it’s all a charade. He was a Repub during the Reagan years. He’ll milk his PUMA/slut-shaming feminist shtick for as long as he can and then eventually plop himself down in the comments section at Ace of Spades where he really belongs.

Mrs. P. - I was going to ask you how your holiday went.  Guess I don’t need to now. ;-)

As for the rest - what everybody else said.

Damn, that update is hilarious. Some people take this blogging thing way too seriously.
