This Week in Birfer News

image

Another dream dashed:

In a judicial smackdown reminiscent of the Orly Taitz saga, the investigating officer in the court martial of Birther Army doctor Terrence Lakin has denied Lakin’s request to compel President Obama to testify, robbing the Birthers of what they hoped would be a golden opportunity to try the “eligibility” question in a high-stakes trial setting.

Anyhoo, apologies for the poor quality of the artwork. Truly gifted artist and official Rumproast Orly Taitz portraitist Mrs. Polly is presumably occupied with Roastacon festivities, so the task of illustrating a bit of breaking birther news fell into my incompetent hands. (Kinda like walking into the Sistine Chapel and finding Michelangelo’s work painted over by Thomas Kinkade, isn’t it?)

Betty, you have still managed to capture the vapid, eye-twirling, brain-damaged persona of our Orly, so don’t belittle your artistic ability. It’s not a Polly Piece, but it’ll do just fine. ;-)

Hey, at least you can draw. All I’ve got is sloppy retouching and a lot of over-tweaked, exploded pixels. This is lovely.

I considered switching party affiliations so that I could cast a vote for her in our primary next week.

I really really want her to win the nomination so I can see her debate Debra Bowen.

You really did a fantastic job, Betty. As a pinch-hitter that’s almost starting lineup quality work there.

Didja catch the last graf?

Driscoll is however, allowing the Lakin’s attorney to call Alan Keyes as a witness for reasons that are unclear.

No doubt he wants Keyes to testify about the “missing” debate video from 2004 where Obama conceded to Keyes that he was not born in America—an exchange reported by witnesses who don’t have the video and aren’t sure they actually saw it, and which Keyes himself doesn’t remember actually happening.

Betty FTW.

If you’d have just slapped the picture up on the masthead I’d have wondered “What’s Orly done now?”

Or, “Did Orly win Rumproast as a consolation prize?”

I’m rather hypnotized by those eyes; fabulous likeness.

I almost wish Obama would testify.  That patented patient daddy explaining something to a 5-year-old look he’s got (from plenty of practice both in and out of Congress and his home) would silence some of the skeptics from sheer fear.

Poor Blago couldn’t get Obama, either.  Gotta be a gummint conspiracy.

Huh, it seems that even the batshit numbskulls who populate California’s Alabama-South Carolina region aren’t falling for Orly’s schtick.

Betty, I believe that you have gotten the essence of Orly, which exists in the depths of her mascara-rimmed, swirly whirly eyes!

And really, does not a delicious artist-magnet like Orly belong to all of us?
