this group is fantastic.  just discovered them a few months ago.  remarkable musicians.

They’re from my town, and I’m honestly a little underwhelmed by them.  Don’t get me wrong, they’re great musicians, but their songwriting is a tad lacking.  There are plenty of great Old Time musicians in our area that don’t get the press the Chocolate Drops do.  I’m guessing it’s because they don’t fit the typical “old white person/country-fried hippie” mold.
