We Are Family!

Whether by accident or divine intervention Fox & Friends, on Monday, used one of the world’s most popular gay anthems as they introduced Mitt Romney’s five sons.

The song “It’s Raining Men” was written in 1979 by David Letterman’s maestro Paul Schaffer and gay songwriter Paul Jabara, who died of complications from AIDS in 1992.  It was recorded by one-hit-wonder The Weather Girls.

The LGBT community adopted the song as a gay anthem, catapulting it to the number one song in 1982 and then again in 2001, when it was covered by British pop singer-songwriter Geri Halliwell.

I, personally, have probably heard the song upwards of 5,000 times in gay bars and discos across this great nation.  It would have been fun to see the Romney Boys jump up and “shake their little money-makers” a bit, while the lead-in played, but I guess the “apples don’t fall far from the very straight and rigid tree.”  (It looks like the whole gang shares one personal shopper, too).

For those of you who are longing to get in touch with your “inner homosexual,” have at it with the long, FABULOUS studio version.

One of them is named “Taggart.”  Was he named after the character, Dagney Taggart, of Atlas Shrugged?

No, no.  Soros Socialism Ninja Infiltrators are responsible.  We control soundboards and editing rooms everywhere.  Just wait until you hear what we have picked out for Hologram Reagan’s rollout at the convention, mwahahaha.

Honestly, anyone promoting the Republican Party these days is completely tone deaf, out of touch with pop culture, and oblivious to practically everything around them.

And yet they want to run the country. jesus.

This year’s Republican theme is Irony. Today’s Convention theme was “We Built It.”

RNC Primetime Speaker Gave Extensive PowerPoint On How To Build Your Business With Government Money

Lubbock, Texas, 1982.  My gay friends (leaders of one of the local Catholic congregations) took me to Papillon, the town’s only gay club, knowing that I’d never seen such a thing before.  “It’s Raining Men” came on and you shoulda seen the dance floor!  Not a square inch of available space.  The only woman in the place I can remember was the fantastically hot lady from Hong Kong who was married to the proprietor.

Anne Rmoney started out her speech by thanking the first responders for their help in such things like hurricane Isaac.  You know, tax-payer funded first responders.  Since her and hubby only paid 13% in taxes, I guess we can safely assume that she “didn’t build that”.
