Pretty much says it all.

It was a cracking post was it not?  It deserves to go viral and be required reading for every child in the country.  The political process in this country is well and truly fucked.  I really don’t know how this country ever gets anything done.  You should go with the parliamentary system, at least the party in power manages to pass an occasional bill or two.

I don’t expect anything from politics or government anymore.

Fortunately, I’ll be satisfied with a pair of fancy-stitch Western boots and the total public humiliation of Sarah Palin.

I think John Cole was being polite, as he left out the part about the Open Left blogger who would no doubt write a post about how this shows that Obama doesn’t know how to lead.

I’m giving up on politics for tonight and settling in with Mediterranean food and Preston Sturges. In fact, that may be the rest of my life.
