Willard Tell: The Romney Presser Microexpression Comedy Slam

That Freddie Prince fellow used to say “it’s not my job,” and it always got a big laugh with the Latinos, don’t you know.

I just like to see the glass as 53% full. Of chocolate milk, as Annie pointed out to You People.

Hey fellow, I don’t close up your factory and knock the WIC out of your children’s mouths.

Oh, well, ha, ha, I suppose I do! You have me on that one!

Whew, tough room. I’m firing my writers.

Willard’s helmet hair was jarringly out of place.  Maybe he’d just gotten up from a nap.

I like how his upper lip looks like it gets stuck on his front teeth a few times.  Oh, and the deer-in-the-headlights eyes are darling.  How you say, flop sweat?

Well, yesterday—50 days out from the election—was supposed to be Mitt’s big push to reset his campaign.

It worked. Who’s talking about his opportunistic screw-up over the Libya and Egypt unrest now? Genius.

I’ve just seen the final clip from the fundraiser:

But enough about me. Let the bunga bunga begin!

And to think this rotten egg was hurled by Mother Jones! The Obama campaign hasn’t even unveiled whatever it’s got, and I’d be pretty surprised if they haven’t been saving the REALLY hateful stuff for now through October.

The Obama campaign hasn’t even unveiled whatever it’s got

One of Mitt’s “policy white papers” is entitled “A Modest Proposal for Domestic Oil Exploration,” and details how Liquefied Those People makes excellent drill bit lubricant.

But at least it’ll be elegantly stated.

I was going to say something snarky but then I saw Lowkey’s comment and didn’t want to sit here for 20 minutes to think of something to possibly top it.

It seems that Jimmy Carter will haunt the GOP forever, or at least science can re-generate the molded bones of Reagan.

It appears the video was taken by Carter’s grandson.

Ferreals? I haven’t seen that tidbit anywhere else.

Yes, ferreals on the Jimmy Carter IV (grandson of President Carter) being the revealed source of these videos of Mitt Gone Wild.)

I was just flipping news channels and Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC was confirming it with several pundits.

Again, reality proves to be full of stranger coincidences and irony than one would expect.

@Elliot:

Thank you!  But it appears you had plenty of wiggle room to go even bigger, because oh, shit.  If the Daily Currant is correct, Mother Jones hasn’t even begun to twist the knife.

The Mittster apparently felt comfortable enough around his Billionaire Boys’ Club buddies to go Full Metal Racist.

@Lowkey:

Yo, stupid.  Check if something is satire before you run with it.  That’s what I get for linking before finishing reading.

Fishhooked, again!

Check if something is satire before you run with it.

To be fair to yourself, Mittens’ campaign is running on gazillion-octane Poe at the moment.

AP posted a news item around the same time I posted the comment. Jimmy Carter IV didn’t actually make the recording, but convinced the person who did to send it to Mother Jones.

The guy’s also a “currently unemployed” opposition researcher ... I’m having a laugh at his Twitter feed because aside from some hate twatting, some people are like, “I had no idea ... why don’t you put it in your bio?” I doubt grandpa would like being used as a calling card.

Releasing damning video of his grandpa’s bullies is MUCH better!

I love that it is Jimmy Carter IV who filmed it.  Take that, you morons, for all the “Carter is the worst US pres ever” crap you’ve spewed over the years.  Payback/karma is a yappy female dog, eh?

Gosh darnit! I picked the wrong day to run out of Aqua Net Super Hold.

You are correct and I stand corrected.  It was NOT Carter IV who made the recording.  He merely got the guy to pass the info on to Mother Jones.

and the deer-in-the-headlights eyes are darling.

Aren’t they, though?  Jon Stewart just spent a segment on the dichotomy between Mittens’ “nothing to see here, really” words and his “OH SHIT WE’RE GONNA DIE” face.

For real fun, go to the YouTube video, put it on pause, and go through it frame by frame.

And Jimmy IV, just don’t ever speed in Utah. We can’t afford to lose you.

Word!  Well said. As the right continues to lessen its tether to reality, the boundaries between them and Poe’s law become ever more blurred by the day…

If there could be a Darwin Awards category for political behavior, then Romney’s campaign would finally be able to medal at something…
