Wingnut Investigative Journalism Says What?

Breitbart.tv co-founder Scott Baker does an “in-depth investigation” (really, that’s what they’re calling it) of the allegations behind the Glenn Beck vs. The View feud. In it Baker complains about the “privileged media elites” of The View wasting seven minutes of precious network airtime dog-messing a “rising conservative voice” instead of talking about North Korea or Obama’s birth certificate.  Guess how long Baker’s plodding and tortuous “in-depth investigation” video is?  Eighteen minutes and thirty seconds.

I’m begging you, don’t watch it.*  I did and it’s the most horrible thing I’ve watched in my entire life. It makes “2 Girls 1 Cup” look like the opening scene of The Sound of Music. Just stare at the embed and imagine it’s a video of an adorable cat stuck in between sofa cushions or a playful scamp painting watercolor landscapes with their nose. Trust me.

* Okay, maybe scroll to the 9:15 mark to see him being a complete loser in-depth investigating dick. Then quickly think about puppies in picnic baskets.

I don’t know what’s sadder here - that someone spent 18 minutes analyzing Beck’s appearance on The View, or the fact that someone spent 18 minutes analyzing Beck’s appearance on The View two weeks ago.

Anyway, I’m sure it’s all the LIEbruls’ fault that Glenn Beck is a moron. Also.

I couldn’t make it past “rising conservative voice” because the red curry chicken I had for lunch started rising at those words.

Unfortunately I did watch the embed, and do think that Beck embellished the facts a little bit but didn’t lie to the extent that he was accused of on the View. The lying kind of talk usually happens on his tv show which are more dishonest than anything.
