I thought that honor belonged to Rich Lowry.

Sounds like the crew has accepted the bitter fact that their beloved grifter really, truly isn’t running. It will be interesting to see who gets the benefits of the hundred or so dollars from the donations based on the DVD reward.

Any bets on how long before the autographed copies show up at Walmart for $9.99?

So here’s what you get for a hundred bucks (or more):

• A worthless object.
• No effect whatsoever on the outcome of the 2012 election.

What’s even more pathetic is the certainty that there are still a few people out there who think this is actually a bargain.

The way things are going, I suspect that unsigned copies of The Undefeated will be the true collector’s items.

If those stockings need further stuffing, you can also get those farflung members of your family you never want to hear from again a right old earful: The Music of Sarah Palin’s “The Undefeated”

Tracklist:

1. Minstrel Boy (Open Credits)
2. The Seed
3. Caribou Tundra
4. Forks and Knives
5 Stones
6. Industrial Wilderness
7. Point Thompson
8. Gothic Ace
9. Sunrise
10. In Motion
11. Coda Lament
12. Minstrel Boy (End Credits)

$8.99 the lot, or split your bets and buy them a download of any single masterpiece for $0.99.

Alternatively, if you’re a real cheapskate, our erstwhile blog host has prepared a Rich Lowry-approved Palin audio feast to rival “Je t’aime” for free (though I imagine a donation to the Strange fund would not be unwelcome).
