OH. MY. GOD!!!!!!!111!1

I’ve always felt that the Sunday morning talkers (and Sean Hannity’s FoxNews show) would be a lot more respectful of the Liberal viewpoint if our side was exclusively represented by flamboyant professional wrestling managers who weren’t afraid to use an eye-rake and a chair-shot to defend Federal tax incentives for local mass-transit projects.

Limbaugh and Hannity are “heels cuttin’ promos”. Brilliant!
This is great, Jim Cornette was always one of my favorite wrestling personalities back in the 80s.  I mainly remember him a the heel manager of the Midnight Express.  Plus, I grew up in the south & Appalachia ,it’s always good to hear people with Cornette’s accent expressing liberal or leftist ideas.  Get this guy a radio show!
And I agree with Strange, but I’ll add this:
I’ve been to so many protests where I’ve wished for speakers to go off like Cornette instead of singing ‘Down By The Riverside’/‘Ain’t Gonna Study War No More’.

I’ll listen when I get a chance.  In the meantime, I wonder if Mr. Cornette still walks around with a tennis racket all the time.

I’ve been to so many protests where I’ve wished for speakers to go off like Cornette instead of singing ‘Down By The Riverside’/’Ain’t Gonna Study War No More’.

Every time they bring out the 12-string, I can’t help but think of Tom Lehrer:

Remember the war against Franco,
That’s the kind where each of us belongs,
Though they may have won all the battles,
We had all the good songs

I’m sure I didn’t have to quote more than the first line, but in case one of the Young doesn’t have all of Tom Lehrer memorized…
